BiographyMargaret Mondzak Mann went to her Lord on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at her home in Lopatcong Township, NJ, after a long illness. Born: on July 1, 1920 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Mondzak and the late Anna Hoffman Mondzak. Personal: She has lived in Phillipsburg nearly all her life. Margaret and her husband, Chester J. Mann, Jr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 22, 2009. During World War II, she worked at the Belle Meade Army Depot in Belle Meade, NJ. She also worked at the Paul Ford Insurance Agency in Easton, the Ingersoll-Rand Company in Phillipsburg and retired from the Ecolaire Corporation in Bethlehem in 1982. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School, class of 1938 and attended Churchman's Business College in Easton and Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Margaret enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband at their cabin in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. She was also an avid Phillies fan. Margaret will be remembered by her family and friends for her love, her warmth and her generosity toward her fellow man. Memberships: Margaret was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg where she taught Sunday school for many years. Also she was a member of the Lutheran Church Women and was active in other ministries of the Lutheran Church. Survivors: a son, Paul Mann of Easton, PA; daughters, Sandy Baringer of Alpha, NJ and Donna Maine and her husband Bob of Naples, FL; brother, Michael Mondzak of San Jose, CA; sisters, Helen Baker of Austin, MN, Julia Criswell and her husband Joseph of Bethlehem, PA, Loretta Henry and her husband Philip of Roslyn, PA; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Services: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 4 at 12 o'clock noon at the Grace Lutheran Church, 300 Roseberry St., Phillipsburg, NJ. By the request of her family, there will be no calling hours. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church 08865 or the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be submitted at rupellfuneralhome.com.
